Latest update from Kyle - 2 2008 Greetings to everyone, Happy New Year!!! Last night, I was in church and the minister talked about 2007 being the end of the struggle and 2008 is the year of new beginnings. Yes, he is right!!! 2008 is a new beginning of peace, hope, joy, and blessing. I am excited to resume training to reach my goal of 170 pounds with 6% body fat. I have gone onto Body For Life's website, www.bodyforlife , downloaded their meal plan, looking at my 6 meals a day, have begun drinking protein shakes, and will get up and run each morning from my condo to end of Lottsford Road and back (which is approximately 2 miles). Furthermore, I am looking forward to resuming weight training, getting ready to enter the Body For Life contest next month, and seeing the transformation begin. It's time to roll up the sleeves and get started...stay tuned.....
Here's a quick update from Mr. Kyle Bacon on his progress leading up to the holidays! From Kyle: "Well, this week we spend some time working on my chest, back, shoulders, and overall endurance. We start off we running on the tread mill. Let me tell you ...after 5 minutes I am sweating quite a bit. When Greg ups the speed to 5 mph, hold on to your hats - it's on. Then, from there we go into ab work. The crunches are not too bad - 2 sets of 25; however, when we add the medicine ball into the mix - it is a whole other story. That burns and it is no joke. |
